It can be unbelievable sometimes of the things I do in life and not let my challenges get in the way.

I won’t lie, sometimes I get down on myself and want to play the “poor me” card.

But I also know that I’m strong and can do whatever I set my mind out to do.

Once I get comfortable with doing something, I feel more at ease doing it. It becomes like second nature.

It’s not like I don’t want things like my neurotypical peers, in fact I do. But I too have to find my own identity and uniqueness in doing what I know I need and want to do in life.

Sometimes, it takes finding the right kind of element to make me flourish and be my own kind of person doing what I do best.

I’m starting to love life so much better since developing my own sense of freedom day by day hour by hour and realizing that I can finally have the life I want, need and deserve.

““Being A ‘Shining Example To My Peers’ means that I am open, transparent and honest with what it takes and the struggles in managing life’s necessities and challenges alongside being hopeful and resilient in my fight to keep going and living the life that is mine.”
