Sometimes, you have to make sacrifices in life.

Sacrifices sometimes mean change.

Over the years, change continually becomes easier.

This weekend we are yet again visiting my dad at a different hospital.

I wasn’t even planning on going today, but I thought I should take advantage of the opportunity to visit.

During the visit, a family friend was here to visit.

Hospital regulations only allow two visitors per room.

Being that they came from the next town over, I knew I had to be the kind one and “switch out” with the family friend by sitting in the lobby.

Until the last few weeks, I haven’t even been in the hospital since before the pandemic.

Since then things have changed that can force us to make changes with no notice.

And as I evolve in life, it becomes easier to adapt and be more flexible with things and learn how to keep myself engaged without the help of others.

Sometimes it’s the small things.
