A Challenging Time

These “quotes” were from 6 years ago today.

A totally different time.

A time of many unknowns.

A time when isolation was the way of living.

Before things were done differently.

But a time I was struggling.

Whenever most of what I had fell apart.

It wouldn’t be the worst.

But it got better.

I closed a door with little hope.

But another one soon opened.

And while readjusting to a new life was still hard.

It would take some time for things to get better.

But one thing is that I don’t think like this anymore.

Life is good.

The world mostly got back on its feet.

And while there’s been setbacks and changes in mine and my families lives.

It’s made us stronger as a family unit.

But I also know how important maintaining my independence is.

And that it’s not been easy to get here.

But then I think about this day six years ago how everything was robbed from me.

And it reminds me how grateful and blessed I need to be for the many things in my life and how well I am.

Because while today is never tomorrow, it’s reminiscent about the days when the world was uncertain and knowing that we can handle more than we think we can.
