It has been a wild ride this past week!

From learning to be more of an adult to being willing to be flexible and up for things to be unpredictable while understanding that we don’t always have the power to get what we want. To being grateful for the ability to work and have leave time to do necessary family things but be willing to understand how important my employment is while understanding that things are not always going to be the same nor is me being autistic is an excuse for not pulling my weight as part of the team. It is also understanding that there are things that are in place to help me be able to cope with the challenges that happen in life and sometimes it takes using the tools in my toolbox to be able to cope with things that are harder for me than others while learning that autism is not a “horror show” but just a part of who I am and to embrace it as much as I can in my life.
