Today, I am well, but a long day mixed with a Walmart that is being remodeled can be very frustrating.

(Photo was from August 2023 when I was a hot mess and not doing what I needed to do to stay well)

Trying to find the things that you have been acustomed to for a decade, sometimes as long as the store has been opened 19 years ago can be very challenging.

My mother and I both needed to go and get certain things.

I did not allow myself time to regulate and I was a little hangry.

So when things at first didn’t go according to plan, I was flustered a little bit.

Eventually, I knew I had to stick it out.

As we were navigating the grocery aisles with things missing or out of place, I was getting frustrated and wanting to already to jump to conculusions where I script things that don’t matter or I think that they are the stressors.

However, I overthink and jump to conclusions without realizing that in a little bit it is going to be just fine.

I got home (a five minute drive), put the few groceries away and ate the food item I wanted along with a soda pop.

I felt myself again, took my evening meds, put on my headphones and resumed my normal routine.

It can be hard when routines are realigned, but it is also important to remember that when they are, it is not the end of the world.

I am further ahead than I was yesterday.

I am better regulated than yesterday. Like night and day.

I can get through this and make the rest of the day the best I can!

It does get better!
