The last few days, my brain has been ruminating on things that it doesn’t need to.

Thinking about it then or ever is not going to change anything that’s going to happen in the future.

Yes, things are going to be different this week, but constantly thinking negatively about things that happened in the past or things that are embedded in my brain is not going to make it go smoothly.

I need to be open and receptive to what is going to happen and not allow whatever happened in the past be a part of the current situation, it will do nothing but make it worse.

But I don’t need to worry about it today.

I need to focus on what I can do to make today a good day and not get into the bad habits that I’ve been in the past few days.

I’ve had my time to mull over the weekend, now I have to move on.

It’s a new week and a new day is upon us, I need to realize all the hard work I’ve done to get myself to where I am today, not reverse it by running away from things that I can’t control or change.

When the situation arises, I will manage myself properly.

Until then, I will make the best of today that I can.
