If you’re struggling mentally… Just know

Know that there’s no shame in getting help for your challenges.

Know that finding help may take 1, 2, several professionals to find the right professional to help you.

Know that there’s no “magic” pill. It takes time.

Know that when people are concerned about your mental well-being, many times it’s because they see you’re struggling and they care about you and what to help you be well.

Know that when you need help, honesty is the best policy. Not being honest and transparent will only make your mental health struggle worse.

Know that if you have family or other supportive people in your life. Don’t hide or keep your struggles from them. Friends are hard to come by sometimes. It’s important to have ones in your life you can trust.

Most of all… know that there’s no health without mental health.
