There’s obligations when you live on your own that just need to be met.
Bills need to be paid. Living spaces need cleaned. Laundry needs to be done. The list goes on and on.
Putting it off doesn’t help with getting it done and only makes it worse in the end.
I like to think it’s not as bad as it seems. That it can wait until the last possible minute.
In reality, I’m only hurting myself by becoming lazy and pushing it back.
It takes Moxy and intuitive thinking about getting what is needed to be done.
It may mean breaking things up so they don’t become too overwhelming.
It may mean taking different breaks or thinking differently about doing things so they are easier for you.
It’s not making a fuss over the things that need done, rather just getting started in the way that you can.
You will be happier with yourself when you get what’s needed to be done and have a sense of pride about it too.
