To those that are struggling….
Know that it gets better.
I read stories of those that are struggling in the way that I once did as a teen and adult.
I had those doubts of having a potential and purpose in life…It was thought that I would be in an institution.
But I fought the odds and did what I needed to do to prove them wrong.
Showing the doubters that I could do what needed to be done to make the mark.
To not only do what was needed, but to excel and go above and beyond what was needed.
There were doubts that I would survive vocational rehabilitation, I excelled.
Even after excelling, I had to go back to where I left, things changed, and opportunities were provided.
I got a job, and, in the beginning, it was a struggle to go, but I made things known and it got better.
Then there was Community College, something I did literally all by myself and excelled at too.
Then there was the thought of living on my own, what was once thought of a pipe dream.
After the third attempt, I took the leap and moved out on my own.
And while I had some setbacks, I picked up the pieces amid a global pandemic and started over.
I slowly worked on what I needed to improve on and now things are better than they have ever been.
So, if you are struggling today with what is the hardest or most struggling of the days.
Know that it gets better.
You will find what is needed to make things right and find the right path to head down.
It may have some errors, but it may also teach you a life lesson to not traverse the bad path again.
That is what life is in some ways. Trial and Error. Live and learn.
One Day. Sometimes One Hour at a Time.
