Netflix has ordered a second season of “Love on the Spectrum U.S.” (Netflix)

After winning multiple Emmys, more episodes of a documentary series following the dating experiences of people with autism are in the works.

Netflix said it has renewed the series “Love on the Spectrum U.S.”

The show, which debuted its first season in May, features American young adults with autism who are exploring relationships and seeking love.

The U.S. version is a takeoff on the Australian series “Love on the Spectrum,” which began streaming on Netflix in 2020 and has run for two seasons.

Netflix has not released details about how many episodes will be part of the new season or when it is expected to air. No new seasons of the Australian version are currently forthcoming, the company said.

“Love on the Spectrum U.S.” won three Emmys last month, one for outstanding unstructured reality program as well as awards for outstanding picture editing for an unstructured reality program and outstanding casting for a reality program.
