Over the past year, I have been working harder at diffusing my anger. I am letting go of the past feelings I have had about things that brought resounding anger. I have begun to realize that I need to improve myself. I must stop sticking to the old ways. I have been using the same old excuses for far too long.
Early in 2026 I had gotten tired of hearing the same old behaviors and feelings that I was experiencing. I knew nothing would change unless I first got serious about things. This included being medication compliant. I needed to see the benefits that it provides. Being patient was essential. I did not give up while getting back on track. This persistence helped me realize that things truly improved. I needed to focus on what was necessary. Doing the right thing was essential. I made the changes required for improvement. It was better than remaining stuck in negative emotions. This allowed the long-awaited relief to occur.
There is so much potential that I can have for myself. Over the past few years, I have endured so much change. I am working to do better. I am letting go of the things that have held on and not seemed to let go in me. For one reason or another, I am willing to let go of what has been holding me back. It has been making me angry for no reason. I understand that there is a need to let go of what has held me back for so long. I see that there is so much to live for beyond what I allow myself to be ruminating in. I realize that there has to be a change because I think it needs to be a certain way. In fact, I am safe, my needs are met, and I am doing much better.
Change without a doubt is hard. Holding on to things that won’t change isn’t helpful. Brewing anger over things that won’t be a reality isn’t helping me or anyone. Passing those feelings onto those that love and care for me won’t help me. It won’t help them either. It actually makes things worse by thinking that it does. Learning to cope in a healthy way can help me. It also changes how I feel, preventing me from going down the old paths that were not helpful for me.
You must change yourself to make things better. Nothing will ever improve without this change. Maybe it is seeing that things can be better if you give things a chance to work out. They become better when you do the right or new things to make the necessary improvements. Others will see better things in you too. The latter can be so rewarding. You can see improvements if you work to be better than what holds you back. It requires letting go of things that need improvement. If you are tired of living in the same old ways, you must decide to make changes for the better. You need to get out of that old way of thinking.
