Over the past year or so, I have been working to combat the battle of my mental health conditions. Part of that is knowing that I fought the myths I had. I did what it took, even if I didn’t feel the need to do it. It takes knowing the signs and recognizing what wasn’t right. Despite my beliefs about what would happen, in the end, it just required doing the right thing.
It can be hard to admit that you need to do what you need to do to. Especially when you don’t want to do it and want to do what you want to do. It can be hard to see that you need to do what is necessary. Do not think that you have a handle on things. It can be hard to see what happens when you lack control over things. They can continue to spiral out of control if not put in the right place. It is also knowing that if things work as intended, there is no need to question them. You don’t need to think unnecessary thoughts because you lead yourself to believe them for whatever reason.
Sometimes, it requires understanding something important. If something was part of the past, it isn’t necessarily what it needs to be now. Not knowing the whole circumstances of why it happened doesn’t put all the pieces together. You need to see that it is crucial to do the right thing for the right reasons. Just because your mind leads you to believe something doesn’t necessarily mean it is what it needs to be. Your mind’s belief can be misleading. It also doesn’t mean you should do it. This is especially true when more evidence suggests this. You should have been doing what you needed to do all along.
Doing what is best for you can be hard. You don’t always like what it makes you do. Yet, you don’t always see the other things that happen when you do the right thing. The benefits that it brings come later on. These benefits come from doing things you don’t find kindest. What you find the hardest to do and accept is exactly what is required. This is necessary for you to have the best life. It helps you exist in a world. The world is difficult to navigate. This is especially true when it becomes harder and more challenging for you.
It is hard to do what it takes. But, doing so makes the process to get started and get settled as easy as it can be. It is not seeing something as a chore. It is not doing it because others tell you out of what they want. Instead, it causes concern and fear in them for your safety when you don’t do what it takes. This is especially true when you have been entrusted to do it. Part of me wants to be consistent by fighting the myths because I know I need to. It keeps people off my back. In general, I feel better from what I have to experience. By doing the other things to unify everything, it just makes life so much better.
