October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! 💙

This month is a chance to recognize the contributions of people with disabilities in the workplace and to keep talking about something that matters all year long: **everyone deserves a real opportunity to work, contribute, learn, and succeed.**

As an autistic person, I know that finding the right job and being given the opportunity to show what you can do can make a huge difference.

Disability should never be the reason someone is automatically overlooked.

Employers can make a difference by looking beyond stereotypes, focusing on a person’s strengths and skills, providing reasonable accommodations, and creating workplaces where people with disabilities are respected and included.

And for people with disabilities who are looking for work: your disability does not erase your talents, interests, goals, or potential.

Let’s make employment about **opportunity, inclusion, accessibility, and seeing the person—not just the disability.**

Happy National Disability Employment Awareness Month! ♿💼
