Strength, Power, and Steadfastness

Sometimes called the “brave fighter”

That is what my name is to some.

It was a on a card that was given to me many years ago by the pastor of a church that I attended occasionally in Residential Treatment.

I wondered about that. Even today nearly 25 years later since going in that small church in that small country village.

As hard as my brain wants to keep me from doing things. I keep going because I know I have to.

To be well. To earn a living. To love and be kind to myself and others.

It is just what we need to do, even now.

But we keep on going not because of just the advice, but we do it because we know we can and are capable of anything we put our mind to.

Quote of the week

““Being A ‘Shining Example To My Peers’ means that I am open, transparent and honest with what it takes and the struggles in managing life’s necessities and challenges alongside being hopeful and resilient in my fight to keep going and living the life that is mine.”
