I stepped out of my comfort zone today.

It has been some time since I’ve been to the amusement park.

Only once last year and four years before that.

Last night I didn’t want to go.

But the family wanted me to.

So, I got some sleep last night, got up and went with my family.

We didn’t stay long but we did take advantage of some of the attractions like the haunted ones, the train, the carousel and the Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Ride (IYKYK)

Then we went to the bakery and Barnes and Noble before heading home.

In reality like anything I do, it isn’t as bad as it seems.

I just need to be patient and give it a try before backing out completely.

And there’s still time left for me to do what I need to do and get into routine.

It’s the little things.

Quote of the week

“It can be easy to act on our emotions but there can also be a sense of pride when we are brave and do what we need to get through the challenges we face.”
